Gift Ideas Using Cricut Vinyl

I’ve been a busy bee since I unboxed my new Cricut Explore Air 2 and Cricut Easy Press 2. Below are gift ideas using Cricut vinyl.

Custom Mugs

This mug is from Dollar Tree. Dollar Tree is a great source for blanks. I like to check out their selection when I have a project in mind. This mug has flat sides which makes applying the vinyl easy.

The decal is matte foil adhesive vinyl.

The font is watermelon script. It’s a free font you can download to your computer and use in Design Space. Click here to customize this project. Please note you need to have a Design Space account to view and access this project.

Monogrammed Glass Box

I purchased this glass box at Michaels. It was in my stash for a while before I decided to personalize it for a friend’s birthday gift.

The monogram decal is matte foil adhesive vinyl. I lined the inside of the box with patterned adhesive vinyl so the monogram would pop.

The font is apex lake. It’s a free single monogram font you can download to your computer and use in Design Space. Click here to customize this project. Please note you need to have a Design Space account to view and access this project.

Personalized Tumblers

I purchased these green tumblers from Dollar Tree. For my birthday, my girlfriends and I went to AR Workshop for a moms only crafternoon. I wanted to keep the ladies hydrated, so I made these personalized tumblers as party favors/thank you gifts. Moms like goodie bags too.

The monogram decal is matte foil adhesive vinyl. Foil vinyl has become one of my favorites.

The font is Edwardian Com Medium. It’s available for purchase in Design Space. I made this design during my Cricut Access trial period so I didn’t have to purchase the font. Click here to customize this project. Please note you need to have a Design Space account to view and access this project.

These vinyl projects make great teacher appreciation gifts. Click here for more teacher gift ideas.

Tip: Free Fonts

Before you purchase a font, I suggest you look through the free fonts available on dafont.com. They have a great selection of free fonts and offer a preview feature, which allows you to see a word or phrase before downloading the font file. On an iPad or iPhone, use the iFont app to download free fonts.

Bookmark this page and reference it when you need vinyl gift ideas/projects. I will share new adhesive vinyl projects on this page as I complete them.

Happy Crafting,

Jackie

Great ideas! Question about the mugs – I’m guessing they are not washable due to the vinyl or am I missing something?
